Welcome, Guest!
Supporting Professional Business Women in Lawrence Since 1982

Introduction

The Lawrence Women's Network is a business and social organization for professional and managerial women.

The Lawrence Women's Network was founded to provide a place for business women to socialize and share their career experiences. The Lawrence Women's Network continues in recognition of the fact that every business woman needs to:

• Regularly widen and update her business knowledge.
• Be reminded of old ideas and exposed to new ones.
• Make new contacts.
• Better herself and her work.
• Be encouraged by others.
• Socialize with others in similar positions.

Monthly Meetings

A networking meeting is held on the second Friday of each month.

A speaker meeting is held on the fourth Friday of each month, except for May, November and December. Speaker topics are wide-reaching and in the past have included financial investments, gardening, end-of-life care and volunteer service.

All monthly meetings are held over the lunch hour at restaurants in Lawrence. Attendees pay for their own meals.

Two special events replace speaker meetings during the year. The Spring Fling is usually held in May. The annual Holiday Party in December features the announcement of that year’s Outstanding Career Woman of the Year.
